Jared Leto Defies Aging
Recently, I was working out at the gym and I ran into a friend of mine who I had not seen in a good 10-years. As we began chatting, it dawned on me that my friend had pretty much not aged since I had seen him a decade ago.
Sure, he had a few gray hairs here and some wrinkles here and there but for the most part, this dude looked pretty much the same as I had remembered. If I had to describe him, he looks a lot likeĀ Jared Leto. Many people do not realize this but Jared Leto is 42-years old. That dude doesnāt look a day older than 30 (in my opinion).

This encounter with my friend got me to thinking men and aging and particularly how some guys are able to āpreserveā themselves in a way that is astonishing. In the case of my friend, he is 45 but could easily pass for someone in their late 20ās to early thirties. I am pretty sure he has had Botox but I couldnāt swear on it. As many of you know, I have shared with you that I have done theĀ Botox thingĀ in the past.Ā
Leto attributes his youthful looks toĀ him being aĀ longtime. He also is involved with yoga various workouts, which help him to defy his age. Jared, who was born in 1971, looks a good decade (if not more) younger than his real age. The star also doesn’t drink alcohol and gets plenty of rest.Ā
“Twenty solid years of eating vegetarian/vegan and taking care of myself [is my anti-aging secret],” Leto told GQ. “That probably helps the preservation process. It’s probably just down to sleep and diet.”

Skin Care for Men
I know a lot of the basics of self-care for skin, like drinking lots of water, green teas and of course making sure a healthy diet is in place. Regular exercise that includes resistance training also seems to be effective with slowing down the aging process, according to theĀ research.
What are your SkincareĀ Tips?
What I am hoping to discover isĀ what you doĀ to slow down the aging process or keep yourself looking amazing at whatever age you are at in life. For example, do you use certain products? Do you make products for yourself (i.e. masks)?
My hope in having this discussion is to help others learn more about self-care with particular emphasis on anti-aging.Ā Don’t be bashful – this blog is all about muscle dudes who take care of themselves.
