My motivation for writing this piece was to help you understand the Gemini mind. So much of what appears online about the male version of this sign is vague (at best) or simply untrue.
I should know because I am a Gemini Man.
Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve been on a question to understand the Gemini psyche. My father was a Gemini and his father, too. In fact, stretching back nearly six generations, all the men (paternal side) are Gemini.
With the help of a trusted shaman who happens to be a Virgo man, I’ve been able to record specific traits and characteristics of my sign in a way that I hope makes sense.
Now before we get into the meat and potatoes of Gemini men, I need to share with you that I am not an astrologer nor a psychic.
Instead, I’m just a dude who happens to be really in touch with various spiritual teachings, including astrology, Christianity, Buddhism, and Greek mythology.
Speaking only for myself, I believe that all share similar truths, woven together through stories throughout the ages.
And to be completely transparent, my Sun sign is Gemini and my moon is Pisces (see Pisces man). This unusual combination is probably why I am so deeply drawn to this subject, almost to the point of obsession.

1. He bores quickly
If you have dated one of us, you probably know that we tend to be impulsive and generally go with whatever grabs our attention. While there are lots of pluses to this trait, it can also be a negative.
That’s because Gemini men tend to bore quickly. Be prepared to live in the moment and okay with someone who is all about spontaneity.
2. He’ll be super sexual
It’s best to get this characteristic out of the way quickly. Warning: you may not like what follows but I’m just going to be real with you.
Gemini men like getting it on with different people and are down with dating more than one person at a time.
I wish that I could tell you something different, but it simply wouldn’t be honest. Because of our twin personalities, it’s just how we can be.
It’s not that we want to hurt you or cause problems. We don’t. Instead, it’s more about an impulse control issue we have where we want to bed the attractive person in front of us.
That said, when the right person comes along, we can be quite loyal. But wow does it take a lot of energy and focus to keep it in our pants.

Many signs wear their feelings on their sleeves. All I can tell you is that for guys like me who fall under the sign of Gemini, this is not the case.

If there is one thing that can be said about us, it’s that we truly focus on our partners in the bedroom. After figuring out your personality and tuning into your erogenous zones, we’re going to light your rockets under the sheets.
Geminis, in general, are all about excitement. The more excited you become, the more intense we become. Unlike other signs that like to be the focus of attention (see Leo men), that is not the case for us.
5. He’s going to be kind of nerdy
Because we are one of the three air signs, we naturally gravitate towards the nerdy. Think heady topics that are intellectual in nature.
Many of us enjoy talking about science, politics, and education. We like to see proof of something being real and aren’t ones to get all dreamy.
6. Money management is easy for him
When you date one of us, you won’t have to worry about us having money problems. From a very early age, most of us learn the value of the dollar and the importance of savings.
Don’t mistake this for being cheap. We aren’t. In fact, we sometimes spend impulsively. But in the general sense, we like having money in the bank for security reasons. Most of the purchasing we do is practical in nature.

The one problem we have is an incessant need to win arguments. In fact, we will go out of our way to do this, using cunning wit in the process.

There isn’t a man born under the Gemini sign that I know who isn’t competitive. In fact, it’s fair to say we are highly competitive with a knack for winning at any cost.

This one is hard to admit but you came here for the truth. A lot of us have a weakness for gambling. I’m talking about betting on sports, playing the lotto, and quick trips to Las Vegas.
We are attracted to this because of the instant jolt of adrenaline we get from winning. Sadly, when we lose, we sometimes aren’t the best at dealing with it.
10. Men are vulnerable to pearl
In case you don’t know, the birthstone for Gemini is pearl. When we are in the presence of carbonate mineral, we become sexually vulnerable.
By nature, we tend to be dominate but when in the presence of our birthstone, we can either transform into someone extra aggressive or highly submissive. Each man is different.
11. The guys will show you off
This is a terrible thing to admit but I am putting it out there because it needs to be said. Geminis like showing off their mates.
We dig it when you are attached to our arms so that the world can see you. Does this make you a trophy of sorts, like arm candy? In many ways, the answer is yes.

If you are looking for a man who is down with whatever behind closed doors, you won’t have any problem with our sign. Most of us are adventurous in bed and like trying new things.
Just remember point number one about boring quickly. If you are attached to us, be prepared to change things up from time. That will hold our attention and help us focus on you.
13. He might not be organized
As a tribe, Gemini men aren’t always the best organized. That is not to say we are messy. We aren’t. But we don’t always focus on keeping things as tidy as we should.
The reason is because a lot of us center our attention on other things. Minding our finances and keeping our nerdy books neatly stored are examples.
14. He’ll live a simple life
One of the myths that float around about Gemini men is that we like to live large. Some have even suggested we are materialistic. None of it is true.
The reality is most of us live very simple lives and aren’t into material things. A smallish home with a minimalistic feel is just fine by us.
15. He’s a great dad
It is fair to say that most all male Geminis love children. There’s just something about their playful nature that speaks to our inner core.
We make for excellent dads and uncles. Kids gravitate towards us because they sense that – like them – we are all about new adventures and learning.
16. He may have ADHD
You probably won’t be surprised to read this trait, but I am listing all the same. Because of our impulsive nature and challenges around staying focused, many of us have ADHD.
Some of the most intelligent people in history have had this issue, making it a blessing and a curse. We may need your help at times to stay focused.
17. He likes to take control
By nature, most of us are dominant and vibe out alpha male. This trait is apparent in several life areas, including at work and in the bedroom.
That’s not to say we are cocky or arrogant. But it is to suggest that we gravitate towards grabbing the reigns.

Hand in hand with being in control is a knack for leadership. The guys are born with a chip that just gives them the ability to lead.

I’m mentioning this one because it connects to the previously made point. Gemini men – at times – struggle with listening. Please don’t think this is because we don’t care. We do.
Our problem, however, is being able to remain focused on a topic for too long. This goes back to the ADHD thing I mentioned earlier.
We may need your help to stay centered and focused on what you are saying. We won’t be offended if you mention this in a way that is not overly critical.
21. He’s going to like to travel
This trait should not surprise you. Because of our never-ending desire for adventure, we naturally like to travel. If we can go somewhere new and experience it with a mate, even better.
Think hiking, camping, horseback riding, and exotic destinations. All of these will hold our interest.

While not true of all the men, many of us are extroverted. This means we like rubbing elbows with other people and being part of social events.
